"If I were in charge of the news, I'd make sure to keep it more positive." Everyone says it: the news is quite depressing. Every morning and evening, the misery is broadcast directly into your living room or car. And it's well-known that negativity is food for journalists. If something's going well, it's simply not newsworthy. But who decides that? Who decides what's newsworthy and what isn't? And why do we hardly ever hear anything positive from the mouths and pens of our journalists?
